Soccer fans react to Christian Pulisic's hat trick for Chelsea

21-year-old American star Christian Pulisic had not started a Premier League game for Chelsea since August, but he made the most of his opportunity on Saturday at Burnley. Days after his crucial assist delivered a game-winning goal in the Champions League, Pulisic scored a hat trick in the first 56 minutes of the game, his first career goals in the Premier League.

Pulisic scored his first goal arguably against the run of play, and took advantage of a defensive error to set up a left footed shot to the far post.

Pulisic doubled Chelsea's advantage in the first half, and his third goal of the game was spectacular. With his back facing the goal, Pulisic headed in a cross with the back of his head for an unlikely third.

Pulisic became just the second American to score a hat trick in the Premier League, after Clint Dempsey. The hat trick was also the first of Pulisic's professional career. Fans who had been waiting for months for Pulisic to get a first-team opportunity were overjoyed.
