And as the mental health experts have been pointing out for the past four years that is how we know we are dealing with psychosis. Normal people lie to try and gain some kind of advantage but Trump's lies are actually dangerous and destructive to him but he can't stop. Trump just had 5 of his impeachment lawyers quit because he was insisting they still claim the election was stolen from him. Which they cannot do because they would essentially be under oath in a legal proceeding and could be disbarred for making false statements. They are n0t just lies to Trump. They are delusions detached from reality that he actually believes.

Trump's lawyers would not stand before the Senate and claim the election was stolen. They would have to claim "the President believes the election was stolen".

This would put them in the position of claiming that a mob who believed the election was stolen, were not incited by Trump's repeated claims that the election was stolen.

Trump supporters are trying to exonerate their hero because he used the word peacefully on January 6th. The impeachment trial will consider all Trump statements.

Trump's lies hazardous to his own interests because he's just not that smart. A more intelligent and perceptive person could construct much more plausible lies, which more people might believe, but the truth of a statement has never been based on how many people believe it.

We are seeing part of that right now. They run the clip of Trump saying "peacefully" as opposed to the clips where he's saying about a dozen fighting words and says he's marching down to the Capitol with them to stop Biden from being certified as president. And its easy to get lost in the dramatic moments when actually Trump had been recruiting, organizing, and inciting his domestic terrorists going clear back to presidential debate where Trump told the Proud Boys to "stand back and stand by." And there is no doubt the Proud Boys took that as Trump calling them to arms because they bragged about it. Then Trump started promoting his attempted coup as soon as he knew he'd lost the election.

Trump supporters know he has fucked up and are trying to salvage something out of the clusterfuck that Trump's Presidency became. They will say anything they think might be accepted, but the options are limited. They can't discuss the violent attack on the Capitol because the cop killers were there because they believed the election was stolen. We will not find many Trump supporter who will discuss why the rioters thought the election was stolen. They recognize the quicksand. Those who do, end up looking stupid, but lack the self perception to see it.

A bully's power does not lie in the ability to hurt someone, but in the fear he may hurt you. Most elected GOP officials are pathetic cowards. They value their office more than anything and Trump may be able to take that from them. That won't last much longer.

      All y'all are confused.
      Trump lost the election.
      Trump is no longer president.
Biden is dismantling Trump's accomplishments as fast as executive orders can be prepared and he signs them.
Trump is no longer relevant, except that despicables are still bent on destroying the last of his reputation. Oh, and destroying the arrogant assholes who dared not oppose him.

What deplorables are focused on now is keeping the DNC and Harris from turning America into another Venezuela or Turkey.

Keep this up. The Democratic strategy is to scare Trumpets so they force their candidates farther to the right in the State Primaries, and pull middle voters to the Democrats. Push the Venezuela thing, but the guy in Turkey is a Trump fan.

The despicable strategy is to silence any discussion not in line with the despicable agenda.
To punish any not in line with despicables.
To make whats left dependent on big government.

      Power and money.
In the end that is what it is always about.

    GOP lawmakers seek voting reform
    https://www.oann.com/gop-lawmakers-seek-voting-reform/
    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 11:05 AM PT – Sunday, January 31, 2021

In the wake of a highly disputed presidential election, lawmakers reconsider existing voting policies. On Thursday, veteran White House official Corey Lewandowski said President Trump would be included in future “voting integrity” efforts.

In Pennsylvania, Republicans looked to overturn a law that allows people to vote absentee without a medical excuse. In Arizona, one bill seeks to remove the permanent early voting list. Another would remove voters from that list if they’ve missed two election cycles of voting.

Additionally in Georgia, lawmakers introduced a bill requiring absentee voters to provide identification when picking up or dropping off ballots.

Lewandowski said he intends to hold people accountable in 2022.

“Part of my mission is going to be working with individuals from the Freedom Caucus, the Jimmy Jordan’s of the world, the Matt Gaetz’s, the Andy Biggs,'” Lewandowski noted. “To find the right candidates to have a unified effort behind these individuals to go and beat them in Republican primaries and make sure we’re holding people accountable.”

Lewandowski added that “the movement” of President Trump “is very real.” He also predicted the current leadership will be thrown out of office in 2022.

Sidney Powell continues to investigate election, comments on Inauguration Day
    https://www.oann.com/sidney-powell-continues-to-investigate-election-comments-on-inauguration-day/
    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 8:00 AM PT – Thursday, January 28, 2021

Sidney Powell, one of the loudest voices looking into election fraud, has continued her investigation into the irregularities.

In an interview shared this week, Powell discussed what many are calling a fraudulent election. She claimed President Trump received “about 80 million votes” while Joe Biden had much less than that.

Powell said she was forced to drop several cases she had asked courts to review before Inauguration Day, but they failed to do so and the cases became moot. She also commented on being removed from social media, asserting it was merely a control tactic.

“Well it’s very concerning, it’s one of their tactics to isolate and shut down opposition speech when we actually represent the majority of the country because we know that President Trump won the election,” stated the attorney. “So the only tactics they have are to lie, to suppress speech and otherwise bullying and intimidation.”

Powell said she will continue to look into the cases she currently has, noting Americans need to be able to trust elections.

Almost 4 months after the election, massive scrutiny focused on all elections, no evidence found of coordinated voter or election fraud, and still the tryto overturn the election.

Isn't that exactly what you've whined about forthe last for years? How the democrats wanted and still want to overturn the 2016 election!

The issue in 2016 was, for despicables, that Russia handed Trump the throne.
For deplorables it was and has been the weaponization of the FBI and DOJ to steal the throne back and give it to Hillary.

Report: 81 election fraud cases brought to courts, 30 active cases

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 1:10 PM PT – Tuesday, January 26, 2021

The Alliance for Wise Energy Decisions has put together a comprehensive list of all of the court cases on election fraud brought forward in recent months.

The group found there have been a total of 81 cases filed in Pennsylvania, Nevada, New Jersey, Montana, Minnesota, Michigan, Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, New Mexico, North Carolina, Iowa, Colorado, Texas, New York, Ohio and Washington D.C.

Many of those that are still active were filed in the battleground states, where county totals were decided by just a handful of votes.

The case brought by the President’s campaign against the Secretary of Pennsylvania entered it’s third round as the petitioner pushed for the state Supreme Court to consolidate and reconsider former rulings regarding the counting of thousands of ballots that were improperly cast, but counted anyway.

The Nevada Republican Central Committee v. Clark County was filed in October and called for election officials to make voter records public as vote by mail processes led to a number of issues in the days following the election. In November, a judge ruled the county must reveal the number of ballots that were flagged due to signature issues, including signatures that were missing or unmatched.

While a majority of the lawsuits were brought forth by the President and his team, pockets of voters from across the country became their own advocates, filing lawsuits against election officials and state leaders all on their own.

One such group of voters in Georgia, many of whom doubled as poll tabulators and electors, filed suit detailing numerous instances of voting irregularities. A hearing was held in early January where the petitioners had the chance to bring their concerns forward.

“It is clear from the video that the people’s business in this very important process that we all hold so dear in this democracy, called elections, a one man one vote, was conducted in secrecy, not in the open,” Bob Cheeley, attorney for the petitioner stated.

Meanwhile in Arizona, two groups, “Mi Familia Vota” and “Arizona Coalition for Change” sued Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.

The two groups ran voter registration drives and reported signing up more than 1,500 voters a week until last minute coronavirus restrictions brought their operations to a near standstill. They alleged Hobb’s deadline for registration violated their First Amendment right to free speech, and further violated the due process clause outlined in the 14th Amendment.

The report went on to say millions of Americans are disappointed with the U.S. judiciary system, with many concerned the issues of 2020 may come back to haunt voters just in time for the midterms.

To claim that there were no irregularities in the November US Presidential election is 100% wrong. The have been irregularities in every election since machines, write ins, mail ins and other balloting methods that are difficult to monitor have been in use. One incorrectly recorded ballot is irregular.
The sum of uncoordinated irregularities in any one precinct, enough to swing the results to the favor of one candidate, is unlikely. The law of averages would balance things out.
So the only logical way that these irregularities could effect an unearned victory, is if the effort was coordinated by an entity that had connections to many voting precincts across a wide geographic area.
To argue this now is wasted effort, effort that takes one’s eye off the ball, which is probably where the winner’s want the loser’s focus to be.
