I think a more appropriate comparison is Soap Operas ... a never-ending story that really doesn't have anything that could be considered a coherent plot, just things that LOOK, in the (extreme in GH's case) short term, like plot.I think of GH not as a singular novel that you play through and experience, but as more of a continuing tv show or something.
