Ingredients

1/2 pound fresh mushrooms sliced

1/2 cup chopped onion (or more)

2 Tablespoons butter

2 Tablespoons all purpose flour

1/2 to 1 teaspoon curry powder

1 can pumpkin (15 ounces)

3 Cups chicken broth

4 ounces milk

8 ounces sour cream

2 Tablespoons honey
-
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Additional sour cream and chives (optional)
Directions

Saute mushrooms and onion in butter.

Stir in flour and curry powder.

Gradually add chicken broth.

Bring to a boil and cook and stir 2 minutes, or until thick.

Reduce heat and add pumpkin, milk, sour cream, honey, salt, pepper, and nutmeg and heat through.

Garnish with sour cream and chives (optional)
