PM Modi Visits Vantara, Inaugurates Wildlife Rescue And Rehabilitation Centre

visited Gujarat’s Vantara, a sprawling wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation centre housing over 1.5 lakh rescued, endangered, and threatened animals from more than 2,000 species.
At the state-of-the-art wildlife hospital, PM Modi observed the advanced veterinary care provided, including specialised departments for wildlife anaesthesia, cardiology, nephrology, endoscopy, dentistry, and internal medicine.
He also witnessed an Asiatic Lion undergoing an MRI and a leopard receiving life-saving surgery after a highway accident.
The prime minister’s visit included heartwarming interactions with the centre’s resident animals. He played with and fed Asiatic Lion cubs, a rare Clouded Leopard cub, and a White Lion cub that was born at Vantara after its mother’s rescue.
PM Modi’s journey through Vantara showcased the centre’s commitment to replicating natural habitats, evident in the spacious enclosures.
The prime minister’s tour also included observing elephants enjoying hydrotherapy pools for arthritis and foot problems.
His visit concluded with interactions with the dedicated doctors, staff, and workers managing Vantara.
