Ok, for people who think think that we can stop global warming are being stupid. The Paris accord, the state's and cities that want to continue with the idiocy can continue. But they seem to forget that earth doesn't give 2 shits about people and what they do to lessen their carbon footprint. Volcanoes are constantly erupting. And emitting thousands of times the amount of CO2 than man has released since many came into the picture. And they want to take co2 out of the atmosphere? Impossible. But get to the root of the accord, and it never was about the environment. Just about a new world order.

 

So if the EU won't renegotiate the Climate Agreement, then that makes me wonder just what type of deal Obama was about to get us into? Maybe the POTUS knew that this was a really bad deal for the U.S, , so he pulled out of it before the U.S. gets fucked over again. I also find it interesting the Obama entered this agreement (which was in his power to do) without consulting Congress? Maybe Obama was trying to hide something from Congress and the U.S.???

 

A lot! Not every country has the engineering capabilities to install offshore windfarms, for example, so technological aid is needed. Food security and the fight againts hunger contributes hugely to counteracting climate change. And of course, minorities need to be protected throughout, otherwise it won't be a democratic process. (If they're not protected, the results are the Keystone XL pipeline, which is an environmental desaster.)

Climate is a very complex and interconnected issue. It's not just solar power and cars.

he was never in the deal...
he just refused to sign it......

He should have turned it over to congress for the people to decide it....
then he could agree or not........

 

And just as example of the complex and interconnected issues the causes of the Syrian civil war can be traced to global warming/climate change. And what climate scientists as well as the US department of defense and the CIA have been warning about is those human conflicts will get dramatically worse. And the deniers ignore just how vulnerable the US already is. We feed ourselves off regions that can be easily affected and we could lose our own bread basket.

 

You can keep your graphics. But I'm not even slightly convinced that we're changing the environment. I'm leaning towards the fact that earth has its own cycle. And nothing we do, will change it. And whether you want to believe it, Earth is in a cooling trend.

It takes money for engineering capabilities. First thing would have to be educating the people. It isn't the place of the U.S. to provide education for the people of other countries.
We have a hard enough time educating our own citizens. And education is just the beginning.

Feeding the citizens of other countries is, again, not the job of the U.S. taxpayers. We have hungry people right here in our own country.
Minorities have the same protection as other people, most of the time even more.

Many of these countries are not democratic.

The Keystone XL pipeline has oil flowing through it already. The biggest disaster was the way the shape the protestors left the land in when they left.

Point is, if the earth was getting warmer as claimed, then both poles would be melting and gone. This is not the case.
