The fact remains that the places in the US that have the strictest gun laws are also the places that have the most gun violence. If you look overseas remember that the terrorist incidents in France a couple years ago and elsewhere were committed by people who were using automatic weapons which are as illegal there as owning a tank (not hyperbole) .

But has also ruled regulating them and placing restrictions on guns and gun owners is constitutional.

 

Courts have also ruled that magazines and fire arm accessories are constitutionally protected as well. The issue is there is no merit to the regulations. People who know nothing about guns want to try to dictate what I can own without knowing basic gun terminology, without knowing basic gun functionality. Self defense regulation causes significantly more harm than it helps so by advocating for gun restrictions you are advocating for significantly more harm.
